1. Import sales data

Excel workbook (.xlsx, .xls) or CSV

Columns: COD, Description, STOCK, EXPECTED SKU, RESERVED SKU and at least 12 monthly sales columns such as -1 MONTHS SALES (most recent), -2 MONTHS SALES, etc.

Forecast horizon

Select 1–12 months. Seasonal forecasting is available with 24 or more months of history.

All processing takes place in your browser. No sales files are uploaded to TiedChain servers. The Excel library is loaded from an external CDN.

Order proposal = max(0, forecast demand − stock − expected incoming + reserved). Forecasts are estimates, not guarantees.

4. Forecasting method comparison

Models are evaluated with expanding-window, one-step-ahead historical forecasts. The lowest WAPE is selected, with MAE as a tie-breaker. Seasonal models require at least 24 months.
